WHERE CAN ROBITUSSIN BE PURCHASED?

Robitussin is available at most drug stores and some grocery stores and mass merchandisers.

WHERE CAN THE LOT NUMBER AND EXPIRY DATE BE FOUND ON THE ROBITUSSIN PACKAGE?

The lot number and expiry date can be found on the top panel of the packaging and product label for all Robitussin products, except for Robitussin DM CoughGels (located on the back panel and product label), and Robitussin Complete Daytime and Robitussin Complete Day/Night Combo Pack (located in the folded bottom flap of packaging and on blister inside).

HOW SHOULD ROBITUSSIN BE STORED?

Store at room temperature (15-30°C). Pfizer does not guarantee or recommend taking the product if stored beyond the recommended storage directions.

ARE ROBITUSSIN PRODUCT SAMPLES AVAILABLE?

In accordance with Canadian regulation for cough and cold products, samples are not available to consumers.

Robitussin products do not come with a money-back guarantee.

A healthcare professional should be consulted prior to using any Robitussin product if the patient is nursing/lactating.

We do not recommend the use of an expired product.

WHAT HAPPENS IF ROBITUSSIN IS OVERDOSED?

In case of overdose, contact a physician or poison control centre immediately, even if there are no symptoms.

IS IT SAFE TO CONSUME ROBITUSSIN ON A LONG-TERM BASIS?

CHILDREN

IS ROBITUSSIN SAFE FOR USE IN CHILDREN?

Children 6-12 years of age can use Robitussin products for children in accordance with label instructions. Children under 6 years of age should not use Robitussin products. Do not give children under 12 years of age Robitussin adult products. Please see individual product pages for more information on caution and contraindications while using the product in children. IS ROBITUSSIN IN A CHILD RESISTANT PACKAGE?

Only Robitussin Total Cough, Cold & Flu, Robitussin Total Cough, Cold & Flu Extra Strength Nighttime, Robitussin Children’s Cold, Robitussin Children’s Cough & Cold, Robitussin Children’s Cough & Cold Bedtime, Robitussin Complete Daytime and Robitussin Complete Daytime/Nighttime Combo Pack are available with child resistant packaging. This information can be found on the packaging. Please keep in mind that child-resistant does not mean child proof and all medications should be stored in a secure location.

CAN ROBITUSSIN STILL BE USED IF NOT STORED ACCORDING TO DIRECTIONS (I.E. FROZEN, REFRIGERATED, HEATED, LEFT IN CAR, THAWED, ETC.)?

We cannot guarantee the stability or efficacy of Robitussin if it is stored beyond the recommended storage conditions. In such cases, we recommend that the consumer not take the product.
