Robitussin Extra Strength Cough Control

An extra strength formula made to provide relief of dry coughs, chest congestion, and soothes throats. This alcohol-free liquid contains an ingredient that loosens mucus and phlegm buildup.

Adults (12 years & over)	2 teaspoons (10 mL)
Children under 12 years	DO NOT USE

Take every 6 hours or as directed by a doctor. Maximum 4 doses/day.

1 TEASPOON (5 ML) CONTAINS:

Cough Suppressant Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide (DM) 15 mg

Expectorant Guaifenesin 200 mg

NON-MEDICINAL INGREDIENTS:

Citric acid, corn syrup, FD&C Red No. 40, flavour, glycerin, maltol, polyethylene glycol, propylene glycol, sodium benzoate, sodium carboxymethylcellulose, sodium saccharin, sorbitol and water.

Do not use with other cough and cold drugs; a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI), a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI), or other drugs for depression, psychiatric, or emotional conditions, or Parkinson’s disease, or for 2 weeks after stopping the drug; if you have an allergy to dextromethorphan or any of the listed ingredients/

Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you have/are a chronic cough (as occurs with smoking), a cough with excessive mucus, difficulty breathing, other chronic lung disease (e.g. asthma or emphysema) (These could be signs of a serious condition), pregnant or breastfeeding, difficult or pain when urinating, taking medication for weight control, any other serious medical condition.

Stop use and ask a doctor if symptoms worsen, last more than 7 days or are accompanied by a high fever (>38°C); a fever, rash, persistent headache or thick yellow or green mucus is present.

Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, call a Poison Control Centre or doctor right away.
